KC Custom Aquatics is owned and operated by, Kevin and Carla Lewis.
Carla has been an aquarium hobbyist for 16 years. She attended Kansas State University with a major in Wildlife Biology. Carla was a zookeeper at the Kansas City Zoo for 5 years, where she learned to care for many different species of animals. She started her first saltwater aquarium in 2001. Carla's passion is providing beautiful, healthy habitats for the animals she cares for. Carla remains a hobbyist first and foremost, and is dedicated to remaining up to date on the most current information and equipment available in the hobby.
Kevin has been involved in the construction industry for 13 years, he is skilled on many levels, but has a passion for intricate custom cabinetry, He would love to create beautiful furniture to house your aquarium, Kevin is also skilled at creating user friendly and semi-automated aquarium systems.
